Eryaman, one of the planned and fast-growing regions of Ankara, started to attract attention with the investments made in recent years and there was a significant increase in the number of qualified houses in the district. In today's world, where change/development continues with increasing momentum, user demands and needs change at the same rate also. Oba Kent housing project, which is considered as the main design problem of this change, has been designed as a project where different possibilities are evaluated and presented to the user in a whole.
The project, which has designed as seven blocks on a land of 49233.00 m², has designed in various qualities and sizes as 174 units of 2+1, 369 units of 3+1 and 476 units of 4+1 considering different socio-cultural groups and the needs of these groups. Blocks consisting of 2 basement floors, ground floor, technical floor and 29/30 typical floors, offer different spatial richness to the user with their wide, spacious and rational solutions.
The parking needs of the houses are largely provided in the closed car parks and partly on the border of the terrain so the traffic between the blocks was restricted and pedestrian access was prioritized. The blocks are positioned close to the land border so as not to obstruct each other's light and landscape, in this way, the efficiency of all housing units has been increased and wide landscape areas have been formed between the blocks.
The structures that associated with the topography with the design approach in which environmental data are handled with great care were placed without interfering to the existing land slope. Open spaces in different elevations surrounded by blocks are presented to the users as piazzas, ornamental pools, seating areas, playgrounds, landscape elements and green spaces.
The uniform effect on the façade layout of the blocks consisting of the type floors were saved from the monotony with the framing movements formed in the masses, the vertical elements going along the surface, the variations in the balcony parapets and the colors used.
With the social areas such as swimming pool, aerobic room, fitness room, Turkish bath, sauna, cafe, hairdresser that presented in the project is intended to improve the quality of life by meeting the social needs of the user.
The project, which is designed as a living space that shows its own identity from the not self-abstracting from the built environment, promises new experiences to its users thanks to the qualified areas it offers beyond responding to the expected quality, comfort quest with a human-oriented approach.
